Margalit Jakob has studied piano from the age of 7 and taught from age 12. She holds a BA in music and an MA in Expressive Arts Therapy. Additionally, she plays orchestral and chamber music on violin and viola. She was born in England, moved to the US at age 9, and now resides in Jerusalem with her family.

For many years she devoted time and energy towards her multiple creative interests- in particular: classical piano, improvisation, violin, viola, songwriting, writing and creative arts therapy, while wondering if there was a way that all of them would somehow integrate into a single area that would be more personally satisfying, more helpful to others and not demand so much competition between the multiple modes of expression.

Today, that integration is in place. She has become devoted to helping others realize their creativity and their dreams through her writing, through workshops and through individual work.
